The unique dome shape of this air pump is what enables it to flatten sound wave frequencies, thus provide steady air flow with hardly any noise at all.
The special rubber feet flatten sound wave frequencies and help prevent them from reflecting off of surfaces such as tables and shelves, allowing your pump to produce minimal noise.

Wow! Awesome pump that is super quiet.
One of the best pump design I’ve own. Super quiet and strong air output! I bought this pump for a 45 gallon corner bow tank, It sits 8 feet away from my head while sleeping and I cant even hear it ( I have extremely excellent hearing). This pump is running my under-gravel filter system and my bio filter, It provides excellent air flow and good water circulation. A few of the reviews said poor air flow or excess noise and vibration which can be easily caused by clogged air stones or restricted air lines. I highly recommend this product.
